Imagine five post-graduate courses, where the people you rely on can tap industry-wide expertise, best practices and the latest in technical innovation...and then bring the benefits home to your bottom line. Even better, you can send your employees to this "school" for nominal tuition.

The ATA Councils are the solution. They help you elevate the performance of your employees in areas such as equipment, maintenance, safety, security, finance, taxation, IT and logistics. Clearly, the ATA Councils are an investment worth making in your company's future!

ATA Information Technology and Logistics
Council

The proper use of technology gives successful carriers a decisive edge in today’s increasingly complex freight environment. As an Association that is committed to helping fleets meet the transportation demands of the 21st Century, ATA has launched a new Information Technology & Logistics Council – a forum in which motor carriers can keep abreast of essential IT/logistics developments critical to your company’s efficiency and bottom line. From an advocacy standpoint, ITLC’s purpose is to represent carrier interests on IT and supply chain issues vis-a-vis numerous the standards-development bodies active in the trucking industry. From an operational perspective, ITLC will work to meet motor carrier and shipper demands for speed, agility, and reliability of IT services.  The Council will also work to ensure that adopted technologies are truly integrated and eliminate the information bottlenecks that so often hinder the planning and operations of motor carriers and shippers alike.
